About the Classes:

Many people would love to learn to play a musical instrument so they can have a great time playing songs they love and recognize.  Unfortunately they usually have to learn a lot of hard or boring things before they can enjoy the experience they desire.

It doesn’t have to be this way.  Many great songs are based on simple and common patterns.  The Get Uked program teaches people how to identify these patterns and use them to play literally hundreds of songs. We do this in a fun group setting so that our participants can also enjoy playing music with others. With this unique approach, beginners as well as more advanced players are supported and extended.

About Your Teacher:

Yanai Morris is widely acknowledged as an extraordinary teacher by people from early childhood to venerable elders.  Yanai works with students to find & develop their unique self-expression through playing music – our students feel encouraged and clever.  He uses established technique and cutting edge processes to combine beginner learners with more advanced students – and together we make wonderful music.

More Upcoming Ukulele Action:

20th – 21st May: DRUKE, the Dandenong Ranges Ukulele Festival will be featuring performances, workshops and even ukulele competitions all weekend. Yanai will be performing, running workshops and competing.  More info at: http://www.drukefestival.org.au/evening-gala-concerts/
